Fostering Hope

Supporting Foster & Adoptive Families

Through Fostering Hope, we  walk along side families with prayer, encouragement and practical support.

Clevenger Family

Clevenger Family

We are the Clevenger Family - James and Brooke with all the girls, all the time! We have been married for 13 years and have opened our home to 6 total kids in the past year. We have 3 biological daughters and currently have a sibling set of 3 girls with us now. Having a home with an open door has always been a heart's desire of ours, but after a month of serving in the Nursery with Janet Ladlee, James and I decided this ministry is something we must do! Then God allowed Danae, a childhood friend of James, to live around the corner from us who has the same ministry pursuit! Together with other families at Goldsby Church, we feel empowered to make this ministry the epicenter for rescuing Oklahoma's most vulnerable children. Our greatest needs are pantry and freezer goods with some occasional relief care hours. Please join us by praying for their salvation while in our care. Thank you for serving them all in our Children's and Youth Ministries.

Garriott Family

Garriott Family

My name is Kayley Garriott. I’ve been fostering for 6 months and currently have one sweet kiddo placed in my care. I also have one bio kid who’s learning how blessed we are to get to help in this ministry. Please pray for guidance and peace over our family as we navigate this incredible journey.

Lyles Family

Lyles Family

We’re the Lyles family — our home is a place of love, laughter, and faith. Three of our kiddos are our forever blessings, and two are currently in foster care. Through our foster care ministry, we serve as a middle family — providing a safe, nurturing home for children while their first families work toward growth and healing.

Caring for vulnerable children and families is one of the purest and most undefiled demonstrations of the Gospel this world will ever see. One of the truest outward expressions of the Gospel living within us is to see hard places and broken people — and move toward them, not away — because this is exactly what Jesus has done for us.

Our prayer is to be a bridge of love between where a child has been and where God is leading them next. 💛

McElvany Family

McElvany Family

Hi! We are the McElvany Family. We have been married for 8 years and foster parents for just about as long, having welcomed our first placement after only 9 months of marriage. In total, we have had 14 kids placed in our home through foster care. We now have 2 biological children, one adopted and (right now) two foster placements. By bringing our kiddos a favorite snack or meal you are walking alongside us in this ministry and it can truly make all the difference in a hard day. We would love to see more people have the opportunity to serve vulnerable youth and getting involved in the families who care for them in our church community is a great way to do that. Our most frequent prayer requests are that God would fill our home with ‘peace that surpasses all understanding’ to be a safe haven for kids who have lived in chaos and neglect and that He would fight the spiritual battles in the lives of these children and their families to allow full healing of the family unit as God designed it, according to His perfect will.
Please reach out with any questions on how to walk alongside our families caring for the vulnerable!

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

Ladlee Family

Ladlee Family

Hey all! We are the Ladlee family. We have four adult boys and three grandchildren whom we adore greatly! We have been fostering for nine years and have been blessed with some wonderful children. We are foster to adopt but that has not been Gods plan, yet! We have loved a total of 40 kids in all so far, and our motto is God’s not done with us, so we will continue the calling. We now have a wonderful support group and I’m so proud to call them family and friends. To God be the glory!
I ask for prayers while we are being called to serve! I pray that all these children who enter our home know nothing but love and peace. I pray for peace and comfort in our home. I pray that thru each battle we do not turn our eyes from God. I pray that we seek him in all things and rejoice with glee when all of this is obtained. Just as he loved us, we shall love in return.

Robertson Family

Robertson Family

This is the 2nd time God has miraculously called us to foster, though we’ve had other family and friends in our care off and on. It’s a privilege and honor to serve in this purely religious capacity, all for His glory and praise!

Crawford Family

We are the Crawfords! We started our foster care journey a few months ago and had a few kiddos in our home during the time we were open. Due to personal reasons, we put our home on hold and would love prayer for direction for our family in this time of pause and rest.
